DALLAS, October 15, 2012 – Civitas Capital Management and the City of El Paso, Texas, have entered into an exclusive, public-private partnership to establish the city’s official EB-5 regional center. The Civitas El Paso Regional Center will enhance the city’s economic landscape by enabling qualified international investors to receive permanent U.S. residency by contributing a minimum of $500,000 in local development projects that must create or retain at least 10 fulltime jobs per investor.

We are proud to partner with the city, and we look forward to strengthening El Paso’s already vibrant economy.” While the new regional center awaits authorization from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to commence operations, Civitas will work closely with the City of El Paso’s Economic Development Division to determine which projects will meet the program’s rigorous requirements and further the city’s economic development goals.
